Nickname, ZIP code, city and state, property type and approximate yard size.

Area being designed
Front yard, backyard, side yard, foundation beds, entry, patio or pool area, mailbox, garden or something else.

Photographs
A wide shot of the area, a few angles, and close photographs of anything that must stay.

Growing conditions
Sun, drainage and soil in plain language, with an I don't know option on every question.

Landscape preferences
Pick as many styles as you like, or ask us to help you choose.

Color preferences
Flower colors you want, colors you would rather avoid, and foliage preferences.

Priorities
Curb appeal, privacy, shade, pollinators, natives, drought tolerance, erosion control and more.

Maintenance
How much landscape maintenance you are genuinely comfortable performing.

Wildlife & household
Deer, rabbits, other wildlife, dogs, cats and children — including the deer resistance priority.

Existing features
Trees, shrubs, patios, pools, fencing, structures, utilities and existing beds that stay.

Budget
An approximate installation and plant budget, and whether you want the project divided into phases.

Landscape visualization from your own photographs is built and waiting on its image service. Until that is connected we say so plainly rather than showing you a picture we did not generate.

Our value is not recommending attractive plants — it is recommending the right plants for one particular property and the person who has to live with them.
Horticultural facts are kept in a structured plant library and shown to you as published. The narrative parts of a plan are assembled from your own answers, so nothing about your property is invented.
